This is the original VELUX Roof Window designed 65 years ago. It comes with a comfortable top bar for manual operation. If used out of reach a telescopic rod is available.

Natural pinewood internal construction, treated with two layers of waterbased acrylic lacquer
Argon gas filled double glazing with Low E2 coating
Top control bar allows the window to rotate for maximum ventilation (and up to 180 degrees for cleaning the outer pane from inside the room). A short pull on the bar allows filtered background ventilation even while the window remains shut
Choice of x4 sizes
High performance double glazing as standard
Flyscreen available as optional extra. (Fitted to plaster reveal. Suitable for within-reach applications only)
Complete with flashings for corrugated iron or tile roofs.
Protected by maintenance-free external aluminium cappings (grey colour).
